Penny Godlington is a contemporary Scottish land and seascape painter. With her deep love of Scotland and the Scottish landscapes, she travels north and west from her home in Strathspey, gathering visions of distant islands, wave-lashed shores and stormy skies, before working them up with acrylics in bold colours back in her studio in an old steading which overlooks Abernethy Forest in the Cairngorms National Park. Her paintings express the drama of the Highlands and the islands of the Inner and Outer Hebrides, and also of Orkney.

She studied at Gray’s School of Art in Aberdeen, graduating with a 1st class BA Honours .
